First, we have to find a photograph to work from.  When you are looking at photos to use first consider what type of portrait you would like to have.   There is the posed portrait where the person is looking at the camera, aware that they are being photographed and the ‘candid moment’ portrait where the photographer has captured the person’s image while they were unaware that they were being photographed.  Once that decision is made it is important that the photo is in focus, well lit and large enough (or of a high enough resolution) that I can see the details of the face.  When doing multiple portraits that are meant to be displayed together, it is important that the photographs that we decide upon work as a whole as well as individually.

The Etch A Sketch portraits are guaranteed 100% permanent and come mounted in a black shadow box frame.  They start at $750 per portrait and vary depending on the complexity of the composition.  I cover the shipping costs and send them via USPS priority mail.  I require a 50% deposit before I start to work on the pieces which you can pay by check or credit card (using paypal through my website).
